L’Italia è conosciuta per la sua bellezza e le sue entità pittoresche. Ma senza dubbio, come in altri paesi, anche la povertà infesta le strade d’Italia. Ecco allora che a Roma si incontrano sicuramente mendicanti, borseggiatori, senzatetto che chiedono aiuto e fanno del loro meglio per sopravvivere nelle avversità della loro vita.

Pope Francis, the first Latin American pope, changed the face of papacy with simple warmth approach and pastoral accessibility. A simplified papal funeral made a fitting farewell for a pontiff who just three days after his surprise election expressed his desire for “a church that is poor and for the poor.” The way he chose to live as pope was itself his evangelisation. Opting for a very modest life, reaching out to the marginalised, standing for world peace to making himself available for selfies, he was a face and voice the Church in the world needed.

Era fondamentale per l’Ucraina, che il 24 febbraio 2022 si è improvvisamente svegliata di fronte alla realtà infernale di esplosioni e morti, sentire una parola inequivocabile di sostegno e una giusta e forte condanna dell’aggressore. Fedele alla sua missione originaria di peacekeeper, il Vaticano ha scelto di bilanciare con attenzione la sincera solidarietà per il popolo ucraino ferito e la prudenza diplomatica per non diventare ostaggio di una posizione unilaterale in questo sanguinoso conflitto.

A pochi giorni dall’inizio del Conclave, le speculazioni dei giornalisti delle trasmissioni televisive tentano di individuare favoriti e possibili futuri vescovi di Roma. I cardinali giunti a Roma in queste ore sono presi d’assalto per strappare dalle loro parole scoop e notizie frizzanti che possano essere date in pasto al loro pubblico. Ma c’è da chiedersi quanto queste pressioni e le speculazioni, molto spesso interpretate, anche nel linguaggio, come se fossero semplici elezioni politiche, si avvicinano all’idea vera e propria del Conclave.

Après la mort du souverain pontife, survenue les premières heures du 21 April 2025, l’église universelle quand bien même endolorie, n’a point cessé de parler des signes de la vie de ce grand homme qui a dirigé l’Eglise universelle pendant 12 ans. Car même les dépouilles mortelles du papa parlent de l’Eglise et à l’Eglise.
